Shannon Courtenay does damage, gets third-round TKO

Shannon Courtenay used boxing to help turn her lifestyle and fortunes around, finding success on the amateur circuit before turning pro in 2019. Courtenay is a former WBA bantamweight champion, winning the belt by defeating Ebanie Bridges in April 2021, though losing it in her first title defense later that year against Jamie Mitchell. Courtenay won both of her bouts in 2025, scoring decision wins over Bec Connolly and Jessica Radtke Maltez.

Sasha Booker didn’t begin boxing until her 20s, but she found success as an amateur. Booker made her professional debut in November 2024 and currently holds a 3-1 record. Booker most recently fought in December, scoring a decision victory over Sydney Chambers to rebound from her first pro loss.
