Why This Card Is a Big Deal

Rousey vs. Carano is a matchup that’s been over a decade in the making. Rousey revealed on the Joe Rogan Experience that this fight was originally planned for December 2014 but never happened. Carano hasn’t competed in MMA since her only loss — a TKO to Cris Cyborg in 2009. Rousey hasn’t fought MMA since her loss to Amanda Nunes in December 2016. This is the final fight for both.
