Aline Pereira gains narrow victory with distance-based striking
The younger sister of Alex Pereira, Aline Pereira has built a name for herself in kickboxing and karate, becoming a titlist in those disciplines, including winning the inaugural Karate Combat women’s flyweight title fight. Known for her technical striking, Pereira is currently 2-2 in professional MMA after a 21-3 amateur record. Pereira comes into this fight off a decision win over Nejra Repp in November.
Jade Masson-Wong is known for her aggression and striking power. She has fought outside professional MMA the last several years, competing in both boxing and BKFC. Masson-Wong is 3-2 in MMA, with her last fight being loss to Jamey-Lyn Horth in February 2020.
