Ronda Rousey Returns With Vintage Armbar Submission Performance In 17 Seconds

Ronda Rousey helped bring women’s MMA into the mainstream, becoming one of the most popular and influential MMA figures of all time, let alone the 2010s. Rousey became Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion in 2012 before becoming UFC champion. This will be her first fight since her December 2016 loss to Amanda Nunes. Rousey has since had a pair of stints with the WWE, becoming a multiple-time women’s world champion there.
Gina Carano, however, is a pioneer of the sport. Carano won her first seven fights before losing to Cris Cyborg in Strikeforce in 2009. This will be Carano’s first fight since the loss, as she’s gone on to build a career for herself in film and television.
With both competing in MMA for the first time in 10+ years, whose return will end in sweet victory in this main event?
