Caroline Dubois scores knockdown, gains WBO title alongside retaining WBC belt

Caroline Dubois had a decorated amateur career, going 37-3 and picking up several World and European Youth championships. She made her pro debut in 2022 and has risen to a 12-0-1 record entering tonight’s major title fight. Dubois became interim WBC lightweight champion with a win over Maira Moneo in August 2024, and she was promoted to full world champion by the end of the year when Katie Taylor vacated the gold. Dubois defended the title three times in 2025, going to a draw with Jessica Camara and scoring decisions over Bo Mi Re Shin and Camilla Panatta.

Taking up boxing at the age of 12, Terri Harper quickly excelled in the sport by winning multiple youth championships. She eventually turned pro in 2017 and found more success, becoming WBC champion at 130 pounds and WBA champion at 154 pounds. She claimed her current WBO lightweight championship by defeating Rhiannon Dixon in September 2024. She has since made one defense, defeating Natalie Zimmermann this past May.
