MVPW-05: Jadden Addison Stops Dionne Ruvalcaba in Round 1

Jadden Addison made his professional debut in March 2025, then didn’t return until June 2026. After going the distance in his first fight, Addison competed at MVPW04 in June, scoring a 64-second knockout of Zavier Davis. Addison went 3-4 in his amateur career, which included appearances at the 2021 USA National Championships.

Dionne Ruvalcaba is 2-2 and competes for the first time in 16 months tonight. He last fought in March 2025, losing to Dedrick Crocklem, marking two losses after winning his first two pro bouts. He boxed at the 2023 National Junior Olympics and Summer Festival in Lubbock before making his professional debut in April 2024.

ROUND 1

The two getting right into things in the center. Ruvalcaba aiming for the body. One-twos being thrown by Addison. Addison lands a right, and Ruvalcaba goes down! He gets back up. Some solid right hands by Addison landing, even when he’s going backwards. Addison lands to the body, as Ruvalcaba tries to get inside. Addison misses a right hook. Solid straight left lands for Addison. Right hand by Ruvalcaba.

Ruvalcaba swings to the body and misses. Ruvalcaba trying to pressure Addison to the ropes and land to the body. Addison with a right hand. Addison with a left, and Ruvalcaba appears wobbled again. Solid shots landing from range for Addison. Ruvalcaba falls back to the ropes! He’s still on his feet, but Addison is all over him! The ref steps in! This one’s done just like that!
