Brandon Jenkins victorious in striking clinic battle
Chris Avila has competed on the global MMA stage, building himself to an 8-9 record. Avila has also fought in professional boxing, competing in that discipline against fellow MMA names like Benson Henderson, Anthony Pettis, and Jeremy Stephens. Avila competed in an MVP boxing match last August, losing to Ariel Perez. His last MMA fight before tonight came in July 2021, scoring a first-round finish of Jon Kennedy.
Brandon Jenkins has also fought for a number of noteworthy MMA promotions around the world, as well as in karate with Karate Combat. “The Human Highlight Reel” trained in taekwondo and kickboxing before a full-time venture into professional MMA. Jenkins comes into this bout off a loss to Oscar Remihana in Karate Combat this past December and an MMA loss to James Martin this past October.
